Welcome to Reception - Robins!

Welcome to the Foundation Stage at St Matthew’s where 4 and 5 year old children begin their school learning adventure.
We are known as the Robins!
 
Miss Galvin and Miss Lovick are the teachers in Robins.

Miss Speakman also works with us every day and Mrs Dalal joins us every morning.

In the Robins' class children develop understanding about their world through exploring the outdoors and class visits linked to topics. We also like inviting visitors into class to help us find out about different occupations, ways of life and special times.
 
We understand that you, as parents, are your children’s first and enduring teachers and we like to share children’s learning and successes with you! There is so much you can do to help your child at home and we will send home weekly reading books and a homework book for you to share with your child. We always greatly value your support!
