Hello Robins and Parents,
We are so sorry that there was nothing on this page earlier. Mr Grimshaw and Mrs Molyneux were both in school yesterday and we thought that each other was putting the tasks on for today so we got our wires crossed! Anyway, here we are now.
I know that you have watched and joined in with this 'tricky word' song before but you know that we do have to keep practising those tricky words as often as we can. See if you can read them really quickly this time round.
Have a look at this picture of a very busy park. Can you write some sentences to describe what you see? Try to use some describing words in your sentences. Remember all our writing rules too!
Recently we have been looking at doubling and halving numbers and you have all been so good at this. Today we are going to be learning or recapping about sharing. Sharing can mean a few different things but in mathematics it is where we separate something into groups and we must do Thai fairly ensuring that each group has the same amount. We are going to be helping some mini beasts share some leaves today. Making sure each mini beast has the same amount. One of the best ways to do this is by giving each mini beast one leaf and crossing them out until all the leaves have gone. Then make sure they all have the same number and it is fair. You can draw the mini beast or the circles to help you.
