Phonics & Literacy
Write a few sentences to tell us what you have been up to at the weekend. Then you could draw a picture to accompany the sentences. Remember to use a capital letter at the beginning, finger spaces and a full stop at the end. Also use your phonics to segment the words.
Have a look at some different coins. Can you remember the names of the coins that we had learnt in school. Can you match the coins to their names or could you write some labels for each of the coins. Do you know which coin has the largest value and which has the smallest value. If you are finding this really easy you could think about how we make 3p or how we can make 7p.
I have added a task on purple mash to design an Easter egg in preparation for a special task over the Easter holidays. It is using the same paint tool as the children used for the ‘paint a frog onto the lily pad’ task.
I’m sure they will all be wonderful.
