It was April Fools Day yesterday so here is a little joke for you all.
What do you call a dinosaur that's sleeping?
I will post the answer tomorrow.
Here is todays learning.
Watch the video to recap on the 'oa' sound and then you can write down some of the words and put some of them into a sentence. Try and use one of the new tricky words like he, she, we, be, my, you, are.
Can you help the alien to sort out his capital letters and full stops. Look at the sentneces and write them but make sure you put in the capoital letters and full stops where they need to be.
Can you draw pictures and cross some out to help you solve these subtraction problems. You could then write the number sentnece to match. Amazing adding yesterday but can you be super at subtraction today?
and then lastly. I thought it might be nice if we had a 'riddle of the day' each day. The children can have a think about what they think the answer is and so can parents. Just a little bit of fun. You can email me the answer and I will let you know if you are correct.
Riddle of the Day
I am not alive, but I grow; I don't have lungs, but I need air; I don't have a mouth, but water kills me. What am I?
Good luck and have a lovely day.
