we have started to work on our handwriting and letter formation and we have been working on the curly caterpillar letters. Today we would like you to practise writing these letters. An example of the letters are below.
Today I would like you to use the writing prompt and write some sentences using your imagination. Don’t forget to use your segmenting skills and tricky words.
These ladybirds have the same amount of spots on each side of their body. One side is missing though? We need to put them back on to find out what the double of the number is. Doubling is just adding 2 of the same amount together. So if the ladybird has 1 spot on one side then it would need 1 spot on the other side. Therefore double 1 is 2. The same as 1+1=2.
