I am sure that you are all getting ready for a different yet still very special day and I would like to say Eid Mubarak to you all and to all of your family. I know that you will all be very busy today in preparation for Eid so I will try to keep the tasks easy and hopefully the children can have a go themselves so that you can continue with the preparations.
Please send lots of photos of your special day as we would love to see families celebrating and having a lovely time amongst all of the uncertainty at the moment.
Look at the picture of this kitchen. You will be able to see some circles with a sound in them. This circle is also pointing to something. You must work out the word and write it down using your super segmenting skills. Can you work out and write all the words. I will put the answers on later.
Make an Eid card for a friend or a family member. Remember to write who the card is to on the inside and ensure you tell them who it is from. You could also write a little message to say happy Eid day.
Look at the picture and count how many of each item there is. Write down your answers by copying the word for the item and then writing the number next to it. Careful counting as this can be tricky. I will share the answers later so you can check them.
Good luck with the tasks today and have a lovely day tomorrow. I wish we could have been having our own Eid party now with lots of lovely food and enjoying lots of fun activities as well as having a wonderful celebration. I’m sure all the children will be dressed very smartly and will look wonderful.
